About Me
About Me & FAQs – Your Guide to Online Mental Health Support, Counselling Therapy, and Individual Counselling Services
My Name is Gemma Collins — I'm Here to Help You Reconnect with Your True Self
I'm a qualified counsellor offering online mental health support through individual counselling therapy. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and understood — especially if you’re navigating identity, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm.
Perhaps, like me, you come from a mixed heritage or feel disconnected from a part of your identity. Maybe you've faced a difficult life change and now find yourself wondering who you really are.

My Story
I understand these feelings on a personal level. I come from a beautiful blend of English and Barbadian heritage. While we were once closely connected to our family in Barbados, life gradually distanced me from that part of myself. I straightened my hair, worried about being judged, and unconsciously tried to fit in. Am I a Black therapist? A mixed-race therapist? Or simply someone who has long wrestled with questions of identity?

Through my own period of struggle and reflection, I discovered the transformative power of counselling therapy. It helped me reconnect with myself — and inspired me to offer that same healing path to others.

Your Journey
Your story may be different, but the need for connection, clarity, and healing is something we all share.

Through compassionate and culturally sensitive counselling therapy services, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your identity, emotions, and relationships. My online therapy services are designed to support your growth, at your pace, wherever you are.
Whether you're seeking mental health support for a specific issue or want to engage in deeper self-exploration, individual counselling therapy can help you feel more whole, confident, and aligned with your true self.
Let’s begin your journey together.
